The Filet Mignon is one of the most tender and sought after cuts in the beef world. This steak is very tender and, being American Wagyu, is more marbled than traditional beef. More marbling doesn't mean that you have to shy away from bacon though! The recommended best methods of cooking are the same as traditional steaks; just note that they usually cook faster and it is recommended to use a temperature gauge while cooking. Pull them at 125 degrees internal temp for best flavor. This cut is good for the grill or the cast iron skillet. It is packed with beefy delicious flavors!
